Sharing Our Stories: Creating an Ethical Will

Sharing Our Stories
Creating an Ethical Will
Presented by Richard Selinger

This program examines the ancient tradition of passing on personal values, beliefs, blessings, and advice to family, friends, and future generations.

Whether we are rich or poor, the most valuable gifts we can give to our children, grandchildren and those yet to come are the treasures of our memories, our stories, our values, insights and special wisdom.  An ethical will reflects the "voice of the heart."  Think of it as a love letter to your family.  Every ethical will is as unique as the person writing it.

This program will give you tools and exercises as well as a workbook designed to help you through the process of writing your own ethical will.

Richard A. Selinger is an estate planning and elder law attorney in private practice.  Although Ethical Wills are not legal documents, Richard routinely introduces his clients to Ethical Wills and helps them find ways of preserving their legacy and showing them how to pass on their values, beliefs, blessings and stories.

Sharing Our Stories is an opportunity to learn and grow and share part of our lives.  We all have so many stories that comprise who we are.  Your story can be a meaningful experience you had, something you are passionate about, a meaningful trip, an expertise – something you would like to share with our BNC community.

Please consider sharing one of your stories with others, and contact the new Coordinator of Sharing Our Stories,  Karen Selinger at karenselinger@me.com or 904-860-4798
