Welcome to Time Change Month (aka November)!!


Fall is definitely here, bringing crisp autumn days, falling leaves, and the approaching holiday season. And with this wonderful weather, another month of opportunities to enjoy the friendships and activities that make BNC such a great community!


Whether you enjoy getting outdoors, exploring something new, or simply spending time with friends, there's plenty to keep you connected. Be sure to check out our hikes, social activities, Member Mingles, Gadabouts, and more!

Looking ahead, we have two special events you won't want to miss!

On December 10, BNC and BNC Emeritus will come together for A Boot Stompin' Festive Barn Party! Enjoy a festive potluck dinner, western line dancing with professional instruction, and an evening of music and dancing. No experience necessary!

And for those looking forward to winter adventures, our annual Snow Mountain Ranch Nordic Adventure, February 23–26, offers cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, tubing, and more in the beautiful Colorado mountains. Beginners and experienced outdoor enthusiasts alike are welcome!

Registration for both events opens October 30, so be sure to reserve your spot!


A reminder about event registrations: Many BNC activities have limited capacity, so register early for those that interest you. And here’s a challenge - register with commitment to attend - let’s see if we can have a month of record low cancellations!! 


As Thanksgiving approaches, I'd especially like to recognize the many volunteers who make BNC possible. Whether you're organizing activities, hosting gatherings, or helping behind the scenes, your time and energy are what make this club such a welcoming and vibrant community. Thank you!


We value your input! Have an idea for an activity, an interest you'd like to share, or a suggestion for the club? Please reach out to any board member. We're always looking for new ways to bring members together.

Welcome to the Boulder Newcomers Club website!

BNC is a volunteer-run, non-profit social organization with nearly 400 members. We are a very active club, with over 30 events per month, ranging from Member Mingles to fun hikes on the beautiful trails around Boulder. We join to make new friends and have fun together while learning about our communities. We are couples, singles, empty nesters, working people, and retirees who are new to Boulder County. Feel free to explore our website! Take a look at our schedule on the monthly calendar; watch our slideshow of members making friends. If you have lived in Boulder County for three years or less, and decide we are a good fit for you, please see our instructions below for how to join the club. Why Join the BNC?
The BNC sponsors myriad activities for members every month, from parties, lunches, dinners and drinks to lectures, documentaries and book clubs, to movies and theater, to hiking and biking. And then some.
