Welcome to the Boulder Newcomers Club website!

BNC is a volunteer-run, non-profit social organization with nearly 400 members. We are a very active club, with over 30 events per month, ranging from Member Mingles to fun hikes on the beautiful trails around Boulder. We join to make new friends and have fun together while learning about our communities. We are couples, singles, empty nesters, working people, and retirees who are new to Boulder County. If you have lived in Boulder County for three years or less, and decide we are a good fit for you, please see our instructions below for how to join the club. Welcome to September, fellow BNC Members!!


September promises another full month of opportunities to get outdoors, try something different, and spend time with friends—old and new!

The month begins with a special Gadabout on September 6: American Swing at the Gold Hill Inn Beer Garden. This one will likely fill quickly, so register early if you’d like to go!

Other highlights include Social Mountain Biking for All on September 11; a BNC/BNCE Community Service Project on September 16; Singo on September 19—an unforgettable evening of music and brain-teasing fun; and the welcome return of Pickleball on September 28.

On September 29, another Gadabout offers An Evening with the Sundance Festival. And that’s not all: September also includes four Member Mingles and four hikes, giving everyone plenty of ways to connect and enjoy the beginning of fall.

Registration is already open for the September 16 Community Service Project and closes on September 8, so don’t miss the deadline!

As always, volunteers make this club what it is! Hosting or helping plan an event is a great way to become involved, meet more members, and help keep BNC’s calendar interesting and varied.

Why Join the BNC?
The BNC sponsors myriad activities for members every month, from parties, lunches, dinners and drinks to lectures, documentaries and book clubs, to movies and theater, to hiking and biking. And then some.
